FuryWiki

There are currently 6 different gametypes in Fury which range from 2 player one on one duels to 16 player team versus team capture the flag. These battles take place within instanced zones called warzones. Within each warzone there are assorted power-ups that respawn after a time.

Players can participate in battles by speaking to War Masters located throughout the sanctuary zones. Each gametype has its own War Master who will give a brief description of the gametype as well as the number of matches currently running and the estimated wait time for the player. War Masters also allow players to set a map preference. Once queued by the War Master, players will automatically be matched against players of similar rank and skill.

Players can also directly challenge others to battles by using the Challenge System feature.

Gain points by killing enemies and collecting their blood tokens. The player with the most points after 10 minutes wins the match.

Details[]

Bloodbath - Training Grounds pits 4 players and 4 computer controlled bots against one another in a kill or be killed free-for-all battle. You win bloodbath by having the most blood points at the end of battle. Blood points are honed in two ways: first, by killing opponents and second, by collecting and holding blood tokens.

Blood points from defeating enemies are awarded to everyone who damaged the enemy, based upon how much damage they dealt to the enemy before they fell. Enemies with higher scores (their names appear orange or red) are worth more than those below you in score (grey names).

A single blood token appears on the body of every defeated enemy. Blood tokens give you blood points periodically based on how many tokens you currently hold (you can hold up to 5 tokens at once). If you kill any enemies with a deathblow you automatically gain their blood token. Besides blood points and blood tokens you also regain health from killing enemies. The amount of health you regain is based upon how much damage you dealt to the enemy before they fell.

Bloodbath - Training Grounds Tie-Breaker Rules[]

If there are two combatants tied in points at the end of the game, tie-breaker time is added to the game and the point leader after that period is the victor.

Respawn Rules[]

You have an unlimited number of respawns in bloodbath, but dying takes away a percentage of your blood points. Your collected blood tokens also disappear when you die.

Participant Rules[]

A bloodbath - training grounds battle consists of 8 ungrouped players. You must be ungrouped in order to enter matchmaking for a bloodbath - training grounds contest.

Time Limit Rules[]

Bloodbath is set to last 10 minutes with a possible tie-breaking period of 50 seconds.

Kill NPC bots, collect their blood tokens and return them to your base to score points. The team with the most points wins the match.

Details[]

Carnage pits two competing groups against a team of bots. The object is to be the first team to earn 500 blood points. You earn blood points by defeating the bots and returning the blood tokens they drop to your base.

You can carry a maximum of 10 blood tokens at one time. If you are defeated, either by the bots or members of the enemy group, any blood tokens you are carrying will be lost. The number of blood tokens someone is carrying is displayed as small blood drop icons above their status bar.

Unlike bloodbath you do not gain any benefit from carrying blood tokens nor can you obtain blood tokens from defeating members of the enemy group. You can only score blood points by turning in blood tokens at your base.

Carnage Tie-Breaker Rules[]

If the teams are tied at the end of the game, the time is extended. At the end of the tie-breaker with neither group earning 500 blood points the group with the least number of deaths is the victor.

Respawn Rules[]

You have an unlimited number of respawns in carnage, but you lose all blood tokens you were carrying when you die.

Participant Rules[]

Carnage teams consist of four players forming one group.

Time Limit Rules[]

Kill perkons to capture crystals and return them to your base. The first team to get 4 crystals wins.

Details[]

Vortex is a contest in which two teams compete in a resource race to capture four vortex crystals. Vortex crystals can be captured in two ways: the first is to attack the perkon (an insect like creature) and carry the crystal it drops back to your base. Perkons spawn at the beginning of battle and respawn periodically after being killed. The second way is to raid the enemy teams base and steal crystals they have collected. The first team to capture and hold four vortex crystals in their base is the victor.

To pick up vortex crystals, from the ground or from the enemy teams base, left-click on them at close range. While carrying a vortex crystal your speed is reduced and you are unable to perform any of your abilities, so it is best to have support from your teammates when attempting a crystal capture. If you get in trouble when carrying a vortex crystal you can drop it by single-clicking on the crystal icon which is displayed in the buffs section of the user interface.

Vortex Tie-Breaker Rules[]

If the teams are tied at the end of the game, the first team to have the lead and score a crystal capture wins. If the score is still tied at the end of the tie-breaker period the team with the best overall performance is the victor.

Respawn Rules[]

You have an unlimited number of respawns in vortex, however the time you must wait between respawns is increased depending on the number of deaths you have suffered in the last 10 minutes of play.

Participant Rules[]

A vortex team consists of 8 players in a maximum of two groups.

Time Limit Rules[]

The time limit for a vortex battle is 17 minutes with a possible tie-breaker period of 3 minutes. However, the game always ends when one team captures four vortex crystals.
